The ImageAutoprinter uses robotics to handle discs from start to finish. All the operator needs to do is to load blank discs, start the printing process, then unload finished discs.

High-Quality Printing Results
The ImageAutoprinter gives you a choice of printer types. Choose a single-color (or full-color) thermal-transfere printer to produce permanent, waterproof and high-quality printed images on any type of disc surface. Or select a high-quality color inkjet printer which can produce radiant color printing on special printable disc media.

Prints on Pre-Printed Discs
With the ImageAligner option installed, you can accurately line up text to print on already-printed (silk-screened) discs. The results are crisply-printed discs which look like they were professionally printed all at once.

Easy To Use
The printing production software makes printing discs a snap. Use the disc layout editor to place text and pictures on the disc. You can save the layout for repeat use in the future. To print discs, just select the layout and the number of discs.

Easy Disc Label Layout Designer
Microtech's own DiscPrint is the easy-to-use tool you use for designing what will print on your discs. It lets you easily place text and images anywhere on the disc. You have control over the exact placement of text items—centered or justified—and you can even print text along a curved path around the disc.

You can include pictures to be printed on the following popular graphic formats:

• JPEG (.JPG)
• Windows/OS/2 bitmap (.BMP)
• Windows Metafile (.WMF, .EMF)
• Tagged image (.TIF)

Romote Production Support
Using Microtech's CD-Remote software, you can set up the ImageAutoprinter as a disc-printing server, and send production jobs to it from anywhere over a network—even from around the world over the Internet!

ImageAutoprinter is Upgradeable
While the ImageAutoprinter is designed only to print CDs, it uses the same robotic disc handling system as our CD-R production systems. If you later decide you want to go into full-blown disc production, we can provide an upgrade kit which will add CD-R writers to your system. (The upgrade kit contains all the hardware and software needed to do disc production. Because this is a significant modification, installation will be done in our plant. You'll be delivered back a fully operational production system, ready to burn and print discs.)
